On February 19, 1876, Constantin Brâncuși was born. Near 150 years later, I stood in silence on the same date, February 19, 2025, reflecting on his pursuit of essence and purity in form. This photograph was taken near a lake in Bucharest, all white and covered in stillness with two figures covered in red- symbols of ritual, meditation and reverence. I was seeking in depth, not just in the image, trying not to limit myself only to visual aesthetic, but in the dialogue between color and absence, between gesture and space. It is a tribute not only to Brâncuși, but to the idea of pure form can carry spiritual weight.
