Photographer Francis O'Shaughnessy presents his Overflow series. During daily walks, while his dog searches for scents on the ground, he looks up into the air. In this way, he became interested in the bodies of the landscape, and more specifically in clouds and their unaltered passage through time. From this emerged the strange association in his portrait research between figurative representation, the vaporous ornamentation of clouds and his dog's hair. He stages his portraits as dreamlike landscapes to evoke the inner “blur” that inhabits him.

He works with wet collodion, a primitive black-and-white photographic process that enables prints to be made on aluminum plates. His images are created using a bellows camera, followed by various manipulations in the darkroom.
