Our time is becoming virtual. At least we are establishing it with new technologies. We create our own avatars on social networks, according to our imagination and unrealistic desires. We lose touch with real relationships, people, and compensate for loneliness and unfulfillment with deceptive likes.

We are losing our identity. We replace it by questioning what gender we are, what kind of mammal we are..., in short, we create bizarre self-images, instead of dealing with the survival and life of our own species as an entire habitat.

Instead of preserving natural spaces, we invent virtual and unattainable palaces.

Instead of genuine social relationships, we agree to the dictates of multinationals. Instead of empathy, we establish a paradigm of greed and egoism.

Animalia is the mise-en-scène of our time, in which art is trapped, as perhaps the only category capable of surviving, even if it has to change its face. Let it be animalistic.
