I took this photograph on the Greek island of Amorgos. While driving with my partner, I suddenly saw this tree and asked to stop the car, drawn to its shape, its inclination, as if it had been shaped by the wind over time.

Something in its posture mirrored my own body. The tree, bending but unbroken, seemed to carry both resilience and surrender. In that moment, I felt as if my body could take root. My body becoming tree, the tree becoming my body. A quiet merging.
