My parents and I would drift through Arles, Cotignac, and Cassis; each town speaking a different language of warmth, stillness, and effortless romanticism I didn’t yet know how to name.

Now I live and work in Seoul, a fast city where ambition hums at each intersection. I came here to pursue digital art, but I often catch myself yearning for that earlier rhythm; because of the way it shaped me: soft-eyed, free.

This work is a response to that longing. Using AI, I blend memory with imagined detail, sun-soaked walls, pastel tones cafés, wilted flowers; filtered through the sharp tension Seoul has taught me. These aren’t escapist images, but blends of then and now, child and adult, both south but different.

In this process, AI becomes not a tool of distortion but of emotional recovery. It allows me to dream in two timelines at once: the visual poetry of a childhood in Provence and the emotional clarity of becoming in Seoul. What emerges is a fictional yet intimate terrain, where the past I carry and the self I’m building learn to coexist, frame by frame.
