A Violin at the End of the World
Travelling next to Pope Francis in the South Pacific, turning my camera away from him and onto the world and people he encountered. The Pope, despite being the ''cursor'' of this story, is never seen here. The sediment of what my camera caught turned 180degrees away from him, not surprisingly, is made up mostly by human faces. The human face in fact sums up the complex histories and the sentiment of any land. As well as the deepest feelings, love, defeats, joy, fears of its people. Here, the power of the tribal roots, the violent history of colonial exploitation, the uncertain future
