Lace / A Memory Woven in Silence

Lace is a photographic exploration of memory, silence, and inherited trauma through the metaphor of traditional lace-making. Using my own body as a canvas, I interweave lace, frozen surfaces, archival fragments, and ancestral gestures to reflect on the invisible labor of women, displacement, and resilience.
In these images, lace is not decorative—it is symbolic. Wrapped around the body, buried under ice, or sewn into memory, it becomes a language of survival.
This series fuses elements of fine art, performance, and surreal visual metaphors, drawing on both classical iconography and contemporary photographic experimentation. The result is a visual ritual—one that is quiet, yet piercing.
