I Put a Seashell to My Ear and It All Came Back” is an analog photography series capturing a poetic transformation — from woman to mother, from body to landscape, from moment to memory.
Shot entirely on film, this work reflects the ever-shifting dance between the human form and the natural world. What begins as a quiet exploration of presence becomes a visual meditation on origin, identity, and timeless connection.
Salt, stone, skin — each surface tells a story. The textures of the earth mirror those of the body. Gestures become fossils. Shadows become language.
The presence of pregnancy carries the viewer into a space where life and fragility co-exist, where becoming is both physical and spiritual. Through the photographic process, the model transforms into something elemental — not only a subject, but a symbol of continuity, instinct, and return.
These images are not about perfection, but about truth — and how it echoes through water, breath, and silence.
