Mal da Amazônia. It kept me awake at night, on the waters of the Rio Negro, with the sounds of the forests taking me to a world where reality seemed to vanish. It made me sweat during the day, when everything seemed the most vivid and authentic thing I had ever seen.

I vomited the Amazônia, along with fears, doubts and prejudices. A space was created where the senses could experience the landscape and its inhabitants in a way that, although I still don't quite understand it, seemed magical. Under the giant trees of the floresta , I experienced the eerie and incredible feeling of being alive and part of something much bigger than myself. The Amazon Cosmos is vast and complex, guardian of a wisdom we are forgetting. I wonder, today, if it was all a dream. I look around, and wonder what is real.
