Glimpse of Us

"Glimpse of Us" - is a series dedicated to a painful love, depicted through images and everyday moments, figures and objects. A love that was never rejected, yet remained unrequited.

I had no desire to fall in love, but then you appeared. You were perfect—or rather, my eyes made you so. I placed my love in you, in your image, without asking, and grew angry each time you rejected it. I saw you in all of them, in everyone who crossed my path. I searched for you, then left, only to return again and again. Or perhaps it was you who kept pulling me back. In the end, you took my love and set it on a shelf, like a souvenir. But a souvenir, after all, souvenir means «to remember». Please, remember it—dust it off when you come to Paris. And I will hold on to the memory of that last evening we spent together.
