Series - FotoSlovo 2025 - Category « Architecture and Urban life »

This project delves into the human habitat. On one hand, all the shooting locations are authentic, providing a glimpse into objective reality. Yet, by deliberately excluding almost all signs of life from the frames, the photographs portray a dystopian city dominated by road interchanges, railway tracks, asphalt, and concrete. The images showcase an urban environment pushed to the extreme, a cyberpunk city where scarcely a single human figure remains. Amid this seemingly desolate landscape, however, a sprout of hope for the resurgence of life persists. This environment appears as a stage awaiting a new owner, one possessing a non-human consciousness. The transformation was brought about by human hands.
